Wouldn’t it be interesting if your name became “Kanji”?

I named it Nippon + name “Nipponame”.

What is Nipponame?

It is the process of converting a name from a non-Kanji culture into a Kanji name that looks like Japanese.

Each kanji character has its own meaning

There are many different kanji characters with the same pronunciation.
Each kanji character has its own meaning.

Select letters and meanings

When creating Nipponame, I chose letters and meanings that express beauty and gentleness for a female name, and strength and toughness for a male name.

Beauty as a character is also important

Choosing letters that look beautiful when lined up is another difficult task.

For example,

For example, Catherine.

Catherine is expressed as “華紗鈴” in Nipponame.

“華紗鈴”

  • “華” means flowres
  • “紗” means silk
  • “鈴” means bell

Don’t you think it expresses a woman’s suppleness and beauty brilliantly?

Nipponame is not just one

There are more than 50,000 kanji characters!
Of these, only about 3,000 are used by Japanese people in their daily lives, but Nipponame has about 10,000 to choose from.
This makes for a huge number of combinations, so it is up to my sense of taste to choose which characters to use.
